In 2022, I joined the Brand and Creative Studio at the Queensland University of Technology, based in Kelvin Grove. While there, I assisted the team with various studio jobs, along with annual student recruitment guides and collaborative design challenges run by the leadership team to review and address existing designs and adapt them to face modern requirements of accessibility and user interface/experience.

Originally joining as a freelancer to supplement studio needs, my contract was extended for 14 months in total and I had the opportunity to lead design input on the domestic welcome guide and international study guide across two consecutive years.

Below I have a collected a small sample of the work I contributed towards during my time at QUT. I have credited other contributors where known and applicable.

As the primary designer for the QUT Domestic Welcome Guide 2024, I worked alongside the QUT Student Recruitment department to develop the general style and internal layout to add consistency to the numerous student guides published each year.

The recruitment guide team for 2023 consisted of myself, Jennifer Conn, Debra Reeves, Natalie Ryan and Ash Juers.

In the following year, I was able to handle the design for the primary International Study Guide 2025, along with a number of smaller supplementary guides as well. The general styling and fonts were updated to align with an updated domestic welcome guide which built upon changes made the previous year.
